SUSTAINABLE LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE

SUSTAINABLE LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE:

As the world becomes more environmentally aware, the concept of sustainability necessitates strengthening partnerships between development and the environment and the need to include the environmental, social/cultural and economic aspects of sustainability.

Our intention of sustainable design is to do our best to eliminate negative environmental impact through skilful, sensitive design.

Sustainable design requires no non-renewable resources, minimise the environment impact, and relate people with the natural environment.

Biolandscape is dedicated to the successful evolution of every project by combining solid design aesthetics with sustainable practices from concept through to completion. We create landscapes that respond to and resonate with the user and the natural land, both of which are ultimately responsible for sustaining the site over time.

Biolandscape aims to

  • Choose low-impact materials: choose non-toxic, sustainably produced or recycled materials which require little energy to process.

  • Energy efficiency: use manufacturing processes and produce products which require less energy.

  • Design for reuse and recycling: products, processes, and systems should be designed for performance in a commercial 'afterlife'.

  • Quality and durability: longer-lasting and better-functioning products will have to be replaced less frequently, reducing the impacts of producing replacements.
